If you loved Daisy Duke, Uncle Jesse, Luke, and Bo, then you will love Hazzard Hoedown at The Grand Majestic Theater in Pigeon Forge. They are all back, even those you love to hate, like Boss Hogg, Rosco P. Coltrane, and Enos Strate. If you love Country Music and Daisy Duke Shorts, then don't worry; there is plenty of both to go around.
Hazzard Hoedown does more than pay tribute to one of the most exciting TV shows of my childhood (and maybe yours, too). It constructs a plausible storyline with enough tension to make it fun, and a reason to include some of the best music that you will find in the Pigeon Forge Area. This is a quality show with talented performers who manage to be funny and sing well, often at the same time. A few minutes into the show, one forgets that Hazzard Hoedown pays homage to the Dukes of Hazzard, and starts believing that this is just a special live episode of that TV show.
Here's the plot: the scoundrel, Boss Hogg, is taking possession of Uncle Jesse's farm and Luke, Bo, and Daisy must figure out a way to stop him. Am I right? This could be the plot of an episode of the TV show. The way they attempt to stop him is a talent contest pitting the Dukes against Boss Hogg and his minions. This is where you will hear great music performed on both sides.
Great Music...
Great Fun...
Great Talent...
Great Show...
That's my kind of Hazzardous Duty.
